The promotion wordplay’s on the well known expression Taco Tuesday, marketed as “TJ Tuesday,” and was targeted at young adults in the San Diego area.

Tijuana to San Diego:

Tuesday is for More than Just Tacos

March 15, 2017

We think that Tuesday is for more than just tacos, so we’re excited to announce that we’ll be launching “TJ Tuesday,” where we will be serving our favorite street food and beer from Tijuana.

Our take on the popular Tuesday phenomenon is inspired by our love for the staples of Mexican street food. The ease and versatility that comes with crafting the perfect taco, is the reason why we all love Tuesdays. Using this foundation, we’ve created a TJ Tuesday menu that takes our beloved tacos, tortas, tamales and churros inspired by the streets of TJ and brings them to you. With a variety of flavors and street food portions, you’ll be able to try them all. Of course, with your choice of headlining beer from TJ craft brewery Insurgente, classic Mexican beers like Modelo Especial and Pacifico, or traditional margaritas and micheladas, and more.

Access the TJ Tuesday menu, pick your favorites and we’ll see you very soon.

TJ Tuesday will be available all day, every Tuesday, starting March 20 at Lena Craft Mexican. For more rad offers, follow us on Instagram and Facebook @lenacraftsd and visit us at
